Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of the Princely House of Liechtenstein is used as the great arms of the nation. Its used is reserved to the members of the Princely House and the state authorities.



The first quarter is Silesia; the second is the arms of the Kuenring family; the third quarter, the Duchy of Troppau; and the fourth are the arms of the East Frisian Family Cirksena, representing the County of Rietberg. The base is occupied by the arms of the Duchy of Jägerndorf. The small gold and red shield of the Princely House is shown in the middle of the larger shield.
The Princely crown and a purpure cloak with ermine lining is behind the large coat-of-arms.


Flag
The flag has two horizontal blue and red bands charged with a gold crown at the canton. It was adopted in 1921, after the adoption of the nation's constitution.



Motto:
'Für Gott, Fürst und Vaterland' (For God, Prince and Fatherland).
